The upcoming conference of the National Organization to Insure a Sound-controlled Environment (NOISE) is being held in Washington, D.C. July 16-18, 2003. Minnesota Congressman Representative James Oberstar (D-MN) has confirmed that he will speak at the upcoming conference.

Deane B. Jaeger from Harley-Davidson will be giving a keynote address on 7th May 2003, at the SAE Noise and Vibration Conference May 5-8, 2003 in Traverse City, Michigan, USA. This year marks the 100 year anniversary for Harley-Davidson and the sound of their motorcycles remains relatively unchanged.

The 10th International Congress on Sound and Vibration, will be held in Stockholm, Sweden between 7-10 July 2003. The conference organisers have extended the deadline for submission of abstracts to 1st February, 2003. Currently there are over 200 abstracts that have been submitted and the titles can be viewed here.
